Shelley Tulo

Shelley Tulo is a 20+-year veteran in marketing communications with direct experience in both B+B and B+C sales & service environments. She joined the Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance in July 2019 as the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Shelley’s career began in private agency work at KSC Public Relations in Sarasota, Florida which led to roles in Corporate Communications at Crane Environmental, a manufacturing company in Venice, Florida. An opportunity at Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. brought her back to central Illinois where she spent seven years in Marketing Communications with the global technology company. In 2009, Shelley became the Marketing Manager at local healthcare specialty group, Springfield Clinic, where she spent ten years implementing integrated marketing and communications campaigns through traditional media and cutting-edge digital technology solutions.

A Decatur native, Shelley is a Millikin University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She is a member of the Illinois Women in Leadership and Association for Women in Communications. Shelley and her husband, Jeff, are proud parents to daughters, Karley and Kayla.
