Jason Knoedler

Vice Chairman, Bank of Springfield

Jason was born and raised in Springfield and graduated from Springfield High School. He attended Lincoln Land Community College where he excelled in the classroom and on the baseball field, winning a National Championship and being named an All -American and Academic All-American in 2000. Baseball gave him the opportunity to further his education and playing career at Miami University (OH) where he majored in Finance and was named All-American and Athlete of the Year for the University. He was then drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 6th Round and enjoyed a six-year playing career in the Detroit Farm system.

Jason joined Bank of Springfield in 2006 and currently serves as the Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President. Jason also serves on the Citizens Bank of Edinburg Board, St. John’s Hospital Board, YMCA Trustees Board, and the Springfield Southwest Baseball Association Board. In addition, he is very active with the Community Bankers Association of Illinois. Jason and his wife Melissa are proud parents of three very active kids, Colten, Claire, CJ, and are very proud to call Springfield home.
