Talking Talent: Tools for Attracting and Retaining Qualified and Quality Employees

The Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance is pleased to invite HR leaders to a workshop highlighting some of our local workforce training tools and resources available to you. The program is designed to inform you about available programs and connect you with professionals who can help you find and/or train quality applicants for your organization.

The workshop will include presentations from:

  • Josh Collins, Lincoln Land Community College
  • Leah Tiner, Springfield Urban League
  • Robert Ferriell, Capital Area Career Center
  • Katherine Battee-Freeman, UIS Career Development Center
  • Russ Stoup, UIS Continuing and Professional Education

We are excited to revive our HR Sector Partners efforts after COVID brought gatherings like this to a halt just after we got started in early 2020. Similar to that last meeting, you will also have the opportunity to network with other HR professionals and share your own experiences and insights.
